The Wild Buffet

    Musings of a sensitive soul.

You Already Have Value. Just by Existing.

Simply by existing, you have value.

Not because of what you produce. Not because of how much money you make, how pretty you are, how successful you look from the outside, or how hard you've worked. Just because you're here.

Think about it this way: if you don't exist, nobody gets a hug from you. You can't go to work. You can't make money, make dinner, make someone laugh, or make a difference. You can't till the soil. You can't do a single thing that provides value in any form — because you're not here to do it.

Your existence is the prerequisite for everything.

And yet so many of us — especially the high-achievers, the fixers, the driven ones — walk around with an invisible scorecard. I'm only valuable if I'm making money. I'm only worthy if I'm successful. I'm only enough if I'm pretty, productive, perfect.

Those aren't truths. Those are stories. And underneath every one of them is a trauma or a belief that got installed somewhere along the way, quietly running the show and creating friction in every area of your life.

When you find yourself compensating — overworking, over-explaining, over-delivering, overwhelmed — it's worth asking: what am I trying to prove, and to whom?

    Your worth is inherent.

    Stop trying to prove it.
